Dear Friends

I sometimes listen to some podcasts, from which eslpod.com is my favorite one. I would offer my friends to listen it to improve your language proficiency. Here I list the vocabularies those were explained by host Dr. Jeff McQuillan.

  1. chill pill– relax
  2. potty– go crazy, keen on sth
  3. sweet tooth– crave for sweet food
  4. cheap and cheerful– satisfied what have been bought
  5. cheap and nasty– dissatisfied what have been bought
  6. succinct– precisely, clearly expressed
  7. stretch money– maximize the value of money
  8. in good nick– in good condition
  9. keep an open mind– not made decision
  10. how come– why
